In addition to the traces of life of the Bühler family, the Oberhaushof farm hosts an organic grain cultivation business, several rented apartments and a holiday maisonette (find it on Airbnb). And since 2021, Maja and Stefan Bühler have been running the B&B Oberhaushof on the lower two floors of the Oberhaus.
The historic farm, which is located on the shores of lake Zurich, includes the Oberhaus (1743), the “Trotte” building (1719), a barn (1893), a former wash house, a boat house and some smaller farm buildings. The land belonging to the farm extends from the street down to the lake and a small forest on the lakeshore. The location on lake Zurich with a view of Rapperswil Castle and the Glarus alps is unique.
